Bell Artspace
Project Summary:
A former middle school campus, which had been vacant since Hurricane Katrina was converted into artist housing and studios in 2016. BE-Cl performed an Exterior Condition Survey of the building envelope. BE-CI also performed a Design Peer Review (DPR) of the construction drawings & specifications as it related to the exterior building envelope.
Following the DPR and as work commenced, BE-Cl performed peer reviews of submittals and shop drawings related to the building envelope. During our tenure on this project, BE-Cl also performed 9 periodic Quality Assurance site visits of the work in progress during the $37.4 million restoration to become Bell Artspace.
