Are you a pessimist, optimist or realist and why do you think it helps you make the decisions you make?
I am an optimistic-realist. If you don’t think you can do it, you won’t. This helps me in my decision making process by making decisions I might not make if I were a pessimist. It has always paid off for me.
What do you like about working for BE-CI?
I think the family-first attitude and policies of BE-CI are worth their weight in gold.
Which of the 4 Core Values do you identify with the most and why?
Servant. Giving and serving are the most honest forms of investing. Whether you’re investing in a client, the community, or a fellow employee, being a servant always pays back in droves.
What is something your co-workers would be surprised to learn about you?
My mother’s side of the family directly descends from the Salem Witch Trials where my 9th great-grandmother was tried and found innocent. Later, her great-grandson (my 6th great-grandfather served as a major to George Washington in the American Revolution. His brother signed the U.S. Constitution (William Blount).
