What is something in your industry that you hope you can fix, improve or grow?

In today’s business world, things move at a rapid pace. The need to effectively communicate is paramount and often taken for granted…”I previously sent them an email”. Electronic communication isn’t going away, but will never replace the in-person conversation. To continue to grow our relationships with customers, our BD Team takes great pride to consistently meet customers in-person and to understand their needs.

Are you a pessimist, optimist or realist and why do you think it helps you make the decisions you make?

I am often described by my peers as an optimistic person. I also feel that I have grown over the years to be somewhat of a realist as well. I believe that in business, and life, it helps to be optimistic, but you also have to accept the reality of certain situations. Having a bit of a balance between optimism, with a touch of reality, has benefited me professionally and personally when it comes to making decisions.

Which one of the 4 Core Values do you identify with the most and why?

People – Focusing on the needs of others just feels natural for me. I also believe in knowing the “who” before the “why”. This drives relationships. Respecting each other and having a value in diversity demonstrates it’s not about you, but more about the other person. I also am able to trust others and from that point of view, I can provide tremendous support from a business standpoint and on a personal level.

What is something that your co-workers would be surprised to learn about you?

I was capable of dunking a basketball in HS. I also ran a 6.9 – 60 yard dash and played minor league baseball 1 year in central FL.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

Spending time with my wife and family and playing golf.
