The Katy Apartments
BECl was engaged to perform our full suite of new construction consulting services including a Design Peer Review (DPR) of the construction drawings & specifications for The Katy Apartments as it related to the exterior building envelope. Following the DPR and as work commenced, BECl performed peer reviews of submittals and shop drawings.
During our tenure on this project, BECl also performed consulting services related to attending various Design and Pre-Construction Meetings and performed 15 periodic Quality Assurance site visits of the work in progress and as it related to roofing, exterior, claddings, window installation and overall waterproofing. At various milestones throughout the project, BECl performed 15 mobilizations and 12 consecutive days of standardized water infiltration testing of representative windows to verify compliance with the contract documents.
