Project Summary:
BE-Cl was engaged in 2014 by a commercial property manager to perform a condition survey and testing of the exterior building envelope. During the overall tenure on this project, BE-CI also provided a Pricing Feasibility Study which included development of a conceptual work scope and procuring cost estimate for the cladding restoration. Based on our previous on-site observations and limited testing, BE-CI created exterior design restoration documents and procurement of bids related to the exterior cladding, windows, flashings and sealants.
Once the design documents were completed and bids procured, BE-CI performed Pre-Construction, Contract Administration, Post-Construction and Quality Assurance Site Observations of the work in progress, as well as testing, to verify compliance with the contract documents. The overall cost of the restoration project was $4,000,000.
