Bell Artspace
A former middle school campus, which had been vacant since Hurricane Katrina was converted into artist housing and studios in 2016. BECl performed an Exterior Condition Survey of the building envelope. BECI also performed a Design Peer Review (DPR) of the construction drawings & specifications as it related to the exterior building envelope.
Following the DPR and as work commenced, BECl performed peer reviews of submittals and shop drawings related to the building envelope. During our tenure on this project, BECl also performed 9 periodic Quality Assurance site visits of the work in progress during the $37.4 million restoration to become Bell Artspace.
