Neuhoff Curve
Neuhoff Curve stands as one of Nashville’s most high-profile adaptive reuse developments, transforming a historic industrial site into a vibrant mixed-use destination. Partnering with New City, LLC and Smith Gee Studio, BECI was brought in to provide expert enclosure consulting to this one-of-a-kind restoration project.
Our team began with an in-depth Existing Condition Survey and carried that insight forward through multiple Design Peer Reviews, including advanced WUFI Analysis to evaluate courtyard performance. By engaging early and often in preconstruction meetings, mock-up reviews, and submittal evaluations, BECI ensured that every detail of the enclosure design balanced long-term durability with the project’s preservation goals.
During construction, BECI’s involvement remained extensive, reflecting the complexity and visibility of this landmark project. Our experts conducted 38 Quality Assurance Site Visits, performed in-situ water testing, and verified roof and waterproofing performance to confirm compliance with technical standards. By providing continuous construction consulting alongside robust testing and QA oversight, BECI safeguarded both the historic character and future resilience of Neuhoff Curve, securing its place as a landmark that blends Nashville’s past with its modern growth.
