Favorite quote/motto/verse
“Everything happens for a reason” is my favorite quote because it offers a sense of purpose and meaning to all life experiences. It helps me stay optimistic during challenging times, knowing that everything has a reason and can lead to growth.
What is something in your industry that you hope you can fix, improve, or grow?
I firmly believe that the world will never run out of problems, and women need to be part of the equation to solve current and future challenges. Therefore, I hope to break the stereotypes and promote diversity around underrepresented groups, particularly women, in engineering. I also hope to inspire young children to pursue STEM-related degrees. I never dreamed of studying engineering when I was in elementary or middle school. In fact, I was not very good at math back then. However, because of supportive parents, family, friends, one high school engineering project, and a very patient math tutor, I fell in love with engineering. And I hope to pay it forward.
Which one of the 4 Core Values do you identify with the most and why?
Of the four core values, ‘Knowledge’ resonates with me the most. I have always been passionate about learning and strive to expand my knowledge and skills. I am committed to being a Life-Long Learner and hope to contribute to the growth and development of those around me.
