What is something in your industry that you hope you can fix, improve, or grow?

I hope to strengthen and grow relationships with clients I interact with on projects. Coming from the general contractor world, I know how important relationships are in construction. Performing well on even a small project could mean years of subsequent work from a client if you served them effectively.

What do you like about working at BECI?

Everyone has been very helpful in answering my questions and training me on the various inspection techniques, software, and best practices in waterproofing inspection. I’ve already learned a lot in my first week and look forward to learning more. I also enjoy the variety you encounter on different projects and all the people in the industry you get to meet.

People – in business and in life, it’s crucial to understand the people you’re interacting with, to know their motivations, their fears, their hopes, and how to get their best selves out of them. Everything in the world depends upon people and your ability to deal with them productively will determine your success.

Blue Bell ice cream, especially mint chocolate chip
